Since I will only be able to come into the classroom about once a week I thought I'd make this quick blog to help you get in touch if you want to.

This is also where I'll keep some handy links to some of my favorite websites and video tutorials.

So, this is me:

I'm Tesla Chin's aunt, and I've been knitting for over 10 years. I mostly taught myself by watching videos online. Youtube is amazing.

My favorite thing to make is sweaters.  I also love making shawls, and stuffed toys. I've made socks, hats, scarves and gloves, and I almost never use straight needles because circular needles are the greatest invention ever.

The other greatest thing ever for knitting & crocheting is Ravelry. It's like a cross between Facebook and Instagram for fiber crafts, without the creepy Zuckerberg thing. If you have a Ravelry account, you can find here:

I live in Portland with my Mr. We don't have any kids, but I sure wish I had a dog; we're still working on that part.
